Exclusively from Hearth & Home Technologies, Intellifire's state-of the-art ignition system combines advanced durability with energy savings. It provides a pilot flame only when needed, which saves on your gas bill and reduces wear on thermogenerators. A battery back-up system ensures the fireplace will run during a power outage.

Heat-Zone
The Heat-Zone option allows you to disperse heat from the fireplace to another room in your home. With your Heat-Zone turned on, heat is directed to another location through flexible ducting and finished off with a standard floor grate. Heat-Zone uses its own fan system to draw the air from around the firebox and push it into an area where the warmth is more desirable at the time. This is the perfect answer for those wanting a flexible heat source for more than one room without maintaining a higher setting on the furnace.

FireBrick®
FireBrick is a patented technology that allows us to mold the firebox from a ceramic fiber material. The result is the world's only seamless firebox with an embedded brick pattern to precisely replicate a masonry fireplace. Cutting Edge Surround
The Cutting Edge Surround creates a natural transition between your insert and the existing fireplace, eliminating the need for a custom metal shroud that would cover up the beauty of your natural stone and require lengthy lead times. Mystifire Burner®
A standard feature on our HV Multi-sides, 6000 Intensity Series and 8000 Series fireplaces, the Mystifire Burner features a one piece molded burner and base refractory to hide unsightly tubes and lines. The result is a concealed burner for the look of a genuine masonry fireplace.

Accent Lighting
A standard feature on the Escape-36DV fireplace, Accent Lighting creates a shadowing effect on the back of the fireplace to emulate the shadows found in a masonry fireplace. Additionally, the Accent Lighting can be run independently of the flames to create a warm glow even while the flames are turned off.
